At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, U.S. President Donald Trump repeated his ‘51st state’ taunts, saying the U.S. doesn’t need Canada's oil, gas, cars or lumber and called on all NATO member countries to boost their defence spending.

Speaking to business leaders in Davos, Trump also repeated his jibe that Canada could become a US state and would avoid tariffs if it did.
