The New York Jets finally have their new head coach. They still need to add a new general manager to round out the team, but they took a big step in the right direction. Aaron Glenn earned his stripes with the great job he did with the Detroit Lions.

Aaron Rodgers has revealed that he has spoke with the New York Jets, including team owner Woody Johnson, about his future. However, no decision is imminent. Rodgers, 41, had what sounds like an end-of-season interview with ownership but there is still plenty to unfold which will factor into whatever the future holds.

Aaron Glenn was hired to be their 19th full-time head coach on Wednesday. Glenn, who was the Jets’ first-round draft choice in 1994 and played eight seasons for the team, spent the past four years as the Lions defensive coordinator.
