The Buffalo Sabres’ four-game road trip now takes them to Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome for a Thursday night matchup with the Flames. On Tuesday, the Sabres rode their top line to a 3-2 comeback victory in Vancouver, their third win of the season when trailing after two periods.

Buffalo Sabres goalie prospect Devon Levi is putting together a terrific season in the AHL. He’s 12-3-2 with a .913 save percentage, 2.33 goals-against average and two shutouts. He was named to the AHL All-Star Game. At that level, the 23-year-old has looked the part as one of hockey’s most promising goalie prospects.

Jonathan Huberdeau and the Flames get a favorable home matchup with the Sabres tonight. Look for Huberdeau to lead on the way on offense in this one.

BOTTOM LINE: The Calgary Flames face the Buffalo Sabres in a non-conference matchup. Calgary has a 22-16-7 record overall and a 14-6-3 record in home games. The Flames are 5-12-2 in games their opponents commit fewer penalties.
