The U.S. Senate Veterans Affairs Committee has voted to advance Doug Collins' nomination to serve as secretary of Veterans Affairs.
The senator has been critical of Postmaster General Louis DeJoy and introduced the Postmaster General Reform Act back in September. Ossoff wants to make the postmaster general job a presidential appointment and U.S. Senate confirmed position with a five-year term and two-term limit.
